Q: How can I avoid eczema breakouts on my baby?
A: For eczema – make sure the cleaning products in the home are non-toxic (no bleach, ammonia or artificial fragrances). Use fragrance free laundry detergent. Eliminate personal grooming products that contain fragrance and preservatives and use those that are from natural sources (like ours). Lastly, eliminate processed foods from the diet (e.g., crackers). Instead, replace those foods with more fruits and vegetables for snacks like carrot sticks, cut apples, red pepper “flowers” and cucumber sticks.
