Safe Sunscreen that Works! Review by MomOf2
I have been buying this sunscreen ever since I researched the chemicals in the other "safe" sunscreen I was using on my toddler. I haven't looked back - we love the entire Episencial line of products! I feel good putting these on my baby since they leave her skin feeling soft and are very effective. Also, the ingredients are not scary like in other sunscreens. Only con is the price and a majorly minor one - no more coconut smell. It still smells great though! Also, this rubs in pretty well unlike other natural sunscreens I have used that clumped on the skin. Love Episencial! (Posted on 2/16/2012)
3 kids, lots of sports, this is my go to! Review by megan
We have 3 daughters who all play soccer and other sports. This sunscreen saves us! Our youngest is so fair that she burns after just a few minutes in the sun- with other sunscreens we have had breakthrough burns, or they are so thick she hates putting it on. This sunscreen is so light for how well it covers. I use it on myself and my husband, as well. Best performing sunscreen we have ever used! (Posted on 2/14/2012)
can't do summer without it Review by debbie m
This is our go to sunscreen out here in sunny So Cal. We love it! We use it all summer and are sunburn free. We also use it daily on my 6 year old's face. (Posted on 2/10/2012)
I love this sunscreen! Review by Holly mom of 2
This sunscreen is amazing! It is super easy to apply, smells great, and no white residue. I tried a couple of other organic and natural baby sunscreen brands and they left a white residue and were very sticky. My two year old son loves this product too, he always asks to put his "sunsceen" on before going outside. (Posted on 2/10/2012)
Absolute Favorite! Review by Mary
After running across this product on Facebook last year, the company sent me a trial (which was full sized!) to try out. We fell in love instantly! One thing I hate about buying sunscreen is buying it for all of the different ages in my family. Buying several different tubes to suit everyone's needs gets costly. Every single one of us use this sunscreen, from out littlest, who is 3 months old, to myself the oldest at 29. It's great for every day use, and it's not greasy or sticky at all. It also doesn't have that "sunscreen" smell that I'm so not a fan of. Completely natural, I couldn't ask for a better product to use in our family. It's become a staple on our shelf at home, plus, who doesn't love Eric Carle?! (Posted on 2/10/2012)

Sunny Sunscreen SPF 35, EWG top safety rated baby lotion for sun protection
Sunny Sunscreen is Step 3 in our 3 –Step System designed to support skin immunity and help with skin conditions that could be dermatitis or eczema.
Best baby sunscreen age:
Doctors recommend minimal sun exposure until at least 6 months of age, but if your baby will be exposed then the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends using an SPF product. Harsh chemical blocks should never be applied to a baby.
Episencial Sunny Sunscreen SPF 35 is a doctor recommended natural baby sunscreen. The active ingredient minerals zinc and titanium sit on the skin’s surface and reflect sunrays like tin foil, making these natural minerals the best option for baby sunscreen safety. Chemical ingredients are absorbed into the skin and can have unintended and harmful consequences.
Best SPF baby sunscreen rating:
According to Episencial’s natural pediatric expert, sunscreen should be applied daily. “The best SPF for your baby’s sunscreen lotion is SPF35 if you are playing at the beach, park or in the back yard and is perfect for newborn skin. The best sunscreen SPF could be less if you will be mostly indoors.“ Alan Greene, MD
A great deal of UV exposure comes from reflected light off the ground and other objects, so a hat or canopy is not quite enough protection. Also keep in mind that dry or damaged skin, as you might see with eczema and chapped lips, should be regularly protected, even during the winter.
Sunny Sunscreen SPF 35 is part of an elite group awarded the EWG sunscreen ratings for effectiveness as well as a top safety rating for natural baby sunscreen.
Meaning of SPF:
SPF is an acronym for “Sun Protection Factor”. The SPF factor refers to how much longer it will take the skin to burn with a given SPF than it would take to burn with no protection. But since product wears off with sweat, water, drool, and when in contact with clothing, food, sand, dirt and so on, it needs to be reapplied every 2 hours anyway. An SPF of more than 35 adds close to zero protective value, and is usually chalky white, sticky, hard to apply and can be overly expensive.
Your baby is perfectly protected with Sunny Sunscreen SPF 35 - EWG top rated for safe and natural baby sunscreen.
