- SPONSORS: The sponsor of this Program is Episencial; Co-sponsors are EcoMom.com, CleanWell, Eco-Kids, and Revolution Foods.
- GRANT AWARDS: One preschool per month for 12 months (June 2010 – May 2011) will be selected as the Green Your School Grant recipient. Each selected preschool will receive:
- $250 cash toward a green program
- $500 of in Seasonal Cubby Kits featuring Episencial Skincare products:
Episencial will provide each selected preschool with $500 total in product -- Spring & Summer Cubby Kits include Episencial Sunny Sunscreen and Protective Face Balm.
- Fall & Winter Cubby Kits include Soothing Cream and Protective Face Balm.
- $500 of eco-friendly products from each grant co-sponsor:
- CleanWell will provide each selected preschool with $500 in product – 5 Wall Mounted Foaming Hand Sanitizer Dispensers and 16 Hand Sanitizer Refill Cartridges (4 cases.) Each cartridge delivers 2500 applications.
- Revolution Foods will provide each selected preschool with $500 worth of organic foods from Mashups, Jammy Sammy and Grammy Sammy. The products can be selected by the school or will be supplied based on current availability.
- Eco-Kids will provide each selected preschool with $500 in product – Eco-Dough and/or Eco-Paint. Both are available in regular or gluten free. The products will be selected based on current availability.
- Ecomom.com will deliver product to each selected preschool.
- Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any or all of the awards with products of similar or greater value at its sole discretion. Awards may not be assigned or transferred.
- HOW TO APPLY / USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION: You may apply for the Grant Program by submitting your completed application via the www.episencial.com website. All applications and supporting documents become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned to applicants. By applying, applicants agree that Sponsor may feature all or part of their application and supporting documents on the Episencial website and via social media outlets, as well as on co-sponsor websites and respective social media outlets.
- ELIGIBILITY: The Green Your School Grant Program is open to preschools in the United States. The school must demonstrate a commitment to going green and have an individual who is the project champion or lead. Any individual who submits the application on behalf of their school must be over the age of 18. Persons in any of the following categories are not eligible to apply: (a) persons who are employees or agents of Sponsor or Co-Sponsors; (b) persons who are engaged in the development, production, distribution of materials, or selection of recipients for this Program; and (c) persons who are immediate family of or who reside in the same household as any person in either of the preceding categories.
- SCHEDULE: The Green Your School Grant Program begins May 4, 2010. The application submission deadline is April 30, 2011. This window (May 4, 2010 – April 30, 2011) represents the Grant Cycle. The first recipient will be announced June 2010, and one preschool per month will be awarded and announced through May 2011. Applicants may submit an application online anytime during the Grant Cycle. Only one entry may be submitted per preschool. All entries will be considered throughout the entire Grant cycle regardless of month submitted.
- SELECTION PROCESS: Twelve preschools will be selected from all applications received during the Grant Cycle – one preschool per month. Grant recipient selection process will be two-fold. 1. Recipients will be selected based on completion of application, overall project idea and objectives, as well as execution plans, and demonstration of children and community involvement in the project, as determined by the Green Your School Grant judges. 2 Judges will also consider the amount of support applicants receive via the Episencial Facebook Fan Page wall. Judging will be a subjective process and Sponsor is not required to explain selection to consumers. Sponsor’s decision will be final and binding in all respects. The first preschool recipient will be announced June 2010. One recipient will be announced per month thereafter. Grant recipients will be notified by e-mail or telephone.
- ADDITIONAL RESTRICTIONS AND CONDITIONS: By submitting an application to the Green Your School Grant Program each applying individual or preschool agrees: (a) to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor; (b) to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Co-Sponsors, their affiliates, subsidiaries, and independent contractors, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents, including advertising and promotion agencies and other service providers and advisors, from any and all liability with respect to acceptance, possession or use (or misuse) of the grant or participation in the Program, including any adverse, unintended, or otherwise undesired physical or emotional impacts resulting from or associated with their participation; and (c) to permit Sponsor to use the name of the preschool, the name of the educator in charge of the Program at that school, the video or written application, and basic details about the preschool for publicity and promotional purposes.
- RIGHT TO TERMINATE PROGRAM: Sponsor reserves the right to terminate this Grant Program if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsors’ reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Program, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsors may, at their sole discretion, disqualify any person whom it considers to have intentionally violated the Official Rules or any element of this Program.
Without limitation to the foregoing, if this Program or any web site associated therewith (or any portion thereof) becomes corrupted, or otherwise does not permit entry in the Program, or if infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, actions by entrants, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, in Sponsors’ sole opinion, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper operation of this Program, Sponsor reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual implicated in such action, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Program or any portion thereof.
Any attempt by any applicant or any other individual to deliberately damage any online service or web site or undermine the legitimate operation of this Program is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and/or other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. - NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR TECHNICAL PROBLEMS OR IMPROPER SUBMISSIONS: Sponsor will not be responsible for lost, stolen, delayed or misdirected entries, incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, technical malfunctions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any online service or web site, inability to submit the online entry form, or any other error or malfunction, or any injury or damage to applicant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Program. Illegible, incomplete or inaccurate entries will be void.
- TAXES: Federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the grant recipient.
- GRANT RECIPIENTS LIST: Sponsor will post the selected preschools on its website at www.episencial.com and on the Episencial Facebook Fan Page.
- APPLICABLE LAW: These rules are governed by the laws of the State of California.
