Episencial’s Green Your School Grant Program provides preschools across the U.S. with the opportunity to create an actively healthy environment for kids to learn and play!
How do you apply? It’s easy!
There are two sections to the application, both of which are required in order for your application to be considered.
To begin, simply fill out your preschool’s information in the online form below and click “submit.”
You will then go to Step One - the written portion. In this section, you will asked to answer the following four questions:
1. Please describe the green project your preschool would like to implement, your objectives and why this project is important.
2. Describe how your group came up with your green project and why it would be a good fit for your preschool.
3. Tell us how you plan to execute this project and how you will involve family and community members.
4. Why should we select your school for the Green Your School Grant?
Once you have completed Step One and click “submit,” you will move on to Step Two.
Step Two is designed to encourage class participation, creativity and community! Involve the children in the application process with a creative project. You will be asked to show us what “healthy planet” means to you. Take a photo, make a video or a class art project, then upload in the space provided. Get creative!
Grant recipients will be selected based on completion of application, overall project concept, plan of execution and objectives and creativity. It is important that your application reflect the participation of children and community in the project.
Judges will also consider the amount of community support applicants receive via the Episencial Facebook fan page. Each preschool can promote its grant application by encouraging friends, family and community members to post support on our Facebook page:
1. Fan Episencial on Facebook , and
2. Post the name of the preschool they are supporting for the Green Your School Grant on our Facebook wall.
